Vol 1: Reports on the excavations on the Kohlberg Parking Lot Site in El Paso, Texas. "The majority of recovered cultural resources date from the earliest permanent settlement north of the Rio Grande (ca. 1840s-1859s) to the early 20th century. Both commercial and domestic activities were represented though most of the former predated and most of the latter postdated, ca. 1881. Included among the recorded features were a number of trash pits, several structural remains, and portions of the old Acequia." Illustrated with maps and illustrations. Vol 2: Report on the excavations on Cortez Parking Lot Site in El Paso, Texas. During this excavation it was found that they could determine commercial and domestic activities and how that behavior evolved over time. Illustrated with photos, drawings, maps, profiles and tables.
